Choucho – Authentic symphony PV and commentary

Oops, didn’t notice these videos at first. The official PV for Choucho’s “Authentic symphony”, the opening theme for the anime adaptation of Masairo-iro Symphony, is finally out! And not just that, but it’s on two different Youtube accounts. First off is the full PV in HD quality on the Lantis Youtube channel:

The PV is also contained in a segment she did for Kawaii Girl Japan. It seems to be about exposing female Japanese artists to a non-Japanese audience. Choucho answers some general questions about her background, the origin of her name, and her reason for uploading videos to Nico. The video is subbed in (bad) English, though it’s still comprehensible.

Kyoyama Anna – Osorezan Revoir

Probably the biggest surprise in the world of utattemita this week. Kyoyama Anna is the character played by Megumi Hayashibara in the Shaman King anime. Megumi should be somebody that anyone who has watched anime from the ’90s would recognize. Here she’s singing Osorezan Revoir, a song which requires a bit of explanation. From what I’ve read so far, it’s a poem that is used extensively in the Osorezan Revoir arc in the Shaman King manga. Someone took the words of the poem and turned it into a Vocaloid song, and apparently it’s gotten so popular that Hayashibara noticed the song and covered it in character!

Choucho – Kawaru Mirai PV

It took me a while to find this, but someone has finally uploaded the full PV for Choucho’s Kawaru Mirai! This is the opening theme that she performed for the Kamisama no Memochou anime last season.

My personal favorite nico singer Choucho is doing the opening theme for the show Mashiro-iro Symphony, an eroge turned into an anime. Character designs look pretty generic, but at least the song is good!

Lon – Torinoko City

Those of you who have watched Martian Successor Nadesico should find this singer familiar. She did the opening theme to the Nadesico anime, You Get to Burning! Apparently, after all these years she now sings Vocaloid covers on Nico.

This is her newest cover, a unique rendition of 40mP’s Shiryoku Kensa.

Nobunaga’s recent uploads have been amazing, and this is no different. Easily the best cover of the Net Game Addicts song.

This song is also going to be featured on the Korean utaite produced album voices in a bottle, set to be released on November 23. Can’t wait!
